Cancellation Policies:

Course Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to attend your scheduled training class, please inform us immediately. In order to receive a refund for prepayment, you must cancel or reschedule your registration 16 or more calendar days before the start date of your scheduled class. Failure to provide the required notification will result in full charge of the course. If a student does not attend a scheduled course without the required prior notification, the funds will be forfeited and rescheduling will not be allowed. Within the required notification period, only student substitutions will be permitted.

Rescheduling is permitted at any time with 16 or more calendar days’ notice. Enrollments must be rescheduled within six months of the cancel date or funds on account will be forfeited.

Boot Camp Attendance Policy: The boot camp attendance policy is the same as listed above.

Self-Paced Training: Online subscriptions cannot be canceled or refunded.

If the Customer cancels less than 20 business days, but more than 10 business days, customer will be charged 50% of the Base Course Fee. If the customer cancels less than 10 business days before the start of the class, customer will be charged 100% of the Base Course Fee. Any reschedule less than 20 but more than 10, the customer is charged an additional 25% of Base Course Fee. If customer reschedules less than 10 business days, Customer is charged an additional 50% of Base Course Fee. Any such fee charged will not be applied to the price of any rescheduled courses or future courses.

Exam Cancellation: Cancellation of Individual Exam Sessions is not allowed. Exam session fees are nonrefundable.
 

Private Class Cancellation Policy

If customer cancels or reschedules a course within 30 business days of the scheduled start date, customer will be charged 25 percent of the base course fee. If cancellation or reschedule occurs within 20 business days of the start date, customer will be charged 50 percent of the base course fee. Any such fee charged will not be applied to the price of any rescheduled courses. The cancellation terms for some of our partners differ from ours.
 

Day of Class

Please join at least 20 minutes prior to your class start time. If you join more than 30 minutes after your class start time you will not be admitted to class. If you repeat a class on a retake basis, please use old courseware manual from your previous class.
 

Anywhere (LIVE ONLINE)

Microtek Learning offers the choice of many different learning methods. Our newest learning method is LIVE Online Training.

If you have registered for an Anywhere (LIVE OLT) class, you are scheduled to attend class from your home or office. You will receive an email describing the equipment and steps needed to connect to your LIVE ONLINE class. Please review this email promptly and follow its instructions completely to confirm you will be ready to start your class on time. If you have questions or require assistance, please contact our support team.

If you have registered for a LIVE ONLINE class and the location is Ontario (LIVE OLT) or Toronto (LIVE OLT) simply show up for class at our Ontario and Toronto training center as you would for any other class. Your classroom equipment will be ready to go.
 

Security of Your Personal Information

Microtek Learning committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. For example, we store the personal information you provide in computer servers with limited access that are located in controlled facilities. For your protection, Microtek Learning Training does not store your credit card information on our servers. Microtek Learning partners with a third party, who offers a payment gateway that uses appropriate, commercially reasonable security measures to provide a safe, secure payment procedure.
 

Use of Cookies

Your browser installs a cookie on your computer when you access our site. A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a website and stored on your computer’s hard drive. When you visit the website again, the cookie allows that site to recognize your browser. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some of Microtek Learning website features or services may not function properly without cookies. For example, cookies are required to use certain company services for personalizing your online experience by saving preferences, login information and other personalization experiences. Microtek Learning will not use cookies to collect personal information that you provide to company during the registration process, but the cookies may be used to collect other information, including personal information, such as: your IP address, your operating system type, and the date and time of your visit. This information helps us track users’ movements around our site and understand trends, as well as potentially combat fraud or misuse.

All information that Microtek Learning collects may be used for improving our products and services, providing more effective customer service, performing research, identifying and authenticating users and enforcing our Terms of Use.
 

Security

Microtek Learning will take reasonable precautions to protect personal information in its possession from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
 

Enforcement

Microtek Learning utilizes the self-assessment approach to assure its compliance with this Privacy Policy. Microtek Learning periodically verifies that this Policy is accurate, comprehensive for the information intended to be covered, prominently displayed, completely implemented, and in conformity with the Safe Harbor principles. We encourage interested persons to raise any concerns with it using the contact information below. We will investigate and attempt to resolve complaints and disputes regarding use and disclosure of personal information in accordance with the principles contained in this Policy. If Microtek Learning determines that any person in its employ is in violation of this Privacy Policy such person will be subject to disciplinary process.
 

COPYRIGHTS and COPYRIGHT AGENTS

Microtek Learning respects the intellectual property of others, and we ask our users to do the same. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Copyright Agent the following information: a. an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest; b. a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed; c. a description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the site; d. your address, telephone number, and email address; e. a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; f. a statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your Notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf. Notices to you may be made via either email or regular mail. The Service may also provide notices of changes to the TOS or other matters by displaying notices or links to notices to you generally on the Service.
